In the year 2001, the MCM Society established the Mother Teresa Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) at Sathupally. The institute secured its affiliation with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), and was founded with the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh. MIST was granted autonomous status for ten years by the University Grants Commission (UGC), effective from the academic year 2024–25 to 2033–34. The institute is accredited by NAAC with an “A+” grade.

EXAMINATION BRANCH PROVIDES

The Controller of Examinations (COE) is responsible for preparing and scheduling university examinations for all courses offered at MIST. The COE also oversees the centralized evaluation of answer scripts, the publication of results, and the issuance of grade cards, transcripts, provisional certificates, degree certificates, migration certificates, and duplicate certificates by the permission of principal

Additionally, the COE provides verification and authenticity services to various stakeholders, including government agencies, educational institutions, corporate entities, and private verification firms. The office also arranges for both pre- and post-auditing of question papers and answer scripts by internal and external subject experts and maintains comprehensive examination records.
