Mother Teresa Institute of science and Technology (MIST) was established in the year 2001 by MCM Educational society which is formed by a group of visionaries, philanthropists and intellectuals from various walks of life. Today the tiny acorn has developed into a mighty oak. Today it is a premier institute in both Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem Districts. Now we are offering B.Tech Courses in 7 Branches and 5 M.Tech, MBA Courses of two years duration and diploma courses. The prime objective of the college is to update and modernize the quality of professional education. Its aim is to employ innovative teaching methods which carry an emphasis on fast changing technological trends, to integrate classroom learning with hand’s on approach in the industry concerned and in a related professional field. The college aims to encourage the students from the first year B. Tech itself and identify suitable work areas and execute projects of their own choice and interest.
The great blessing for us to say our college is accredited NAAC with A+ grade and proud to say our college is the first Autonomous college in Khammam & Bhadradri Kothagudem Districts. The teaching-learning process is carried-out by using modern pedagogy methods. MIST boosts facilities such as an extensive computer centre, Digital library, advanced lab for communication skills, internet centre and spacious seminar halls and electronic classrooms. The college is affiliated to the JNTUH, Hyderabad, approved by AICTE, New Delhi, ragging free zone, established anti-ragging cell and various cell’s.
MIST enjoys geographical advantage as it is well connected by rail and road. Sathupally town is strategically located on the borders of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh. It falls on the Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad National Highway and can be reached conveniently by road from Vijayawada (100Km), Eluru (80km) and Khammam (80Km). Several buses run from Hyderabad to sathupally via khammam regularly on the way to Rajmundry, Kakinada.
